Dr Oliver Hennedige is a principal partner in a group dental practice.  While he undertakes all aspects of dentistry, he developed a special interest in orthodontics and implant dentistry.

In orthodontics, he utilizes extensively orthodontic implants, corticotomy and surgically assisted orthodontics for suitable cases.

His interest in mini dental implants began 7 years ago when he found out that certain aspects of dental treatment could not be adequately addressed without the use of implants.  As conventional implants had some significant drawbacks, he was attracted to the mini dental implants.

He did extensive work from lower denture stabilization to the construction of crowns and bridges with mini dental implants.  He gave courses, workshops and lectures on mini dental implants in several countries including Singapore, Myanmar, Philippines, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, India, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Indonesia and Australia.  He has written some articles and a handbook on the effective utilization of mini dental implants.

Dr Oliver Hennedige is a past president of both the Singapore Dental Association and the Asia Pacific Dental Federation/Asia Pacific Regional Organization.  He is currently the Secretary General of the Asia Pacific Dental Federation/Asia Pacific Dental Regional Organization and the Executive Director of the International College of Continuing Dental Education – the educational arm of the Federation.
